Why is that any different then the creative tax manipulation we see locally by the Huggins Hospital & the HH Aide Association and Brewster Academy?

He isn't doing anything illigal CW - sorry to inform you. Non-profits don't pay the same real estate taxes that regular folks pay. That's the law and we are a nation of laws - like 'em or not.

Why not set one up yourself and give away $35,000 instead of paying $4 or $5,000 to the town? Maybe you could donate one of your 40 cars to a local church or a group for low income children to learn art. Maybe you could make a better community and world in which we all live!

My "40 cars" were restored then sold serially. I presently have three cars, with a collective age of 71 years, that I maintain myself. Don't your kids have tools?

I believe that it is individuals who make a better world—just as the US has been doing historically.

I play by the rules so that I cannot be a burden to my community. (Unlike third-world and Socialist-dependent countries.)

A drug-addicted country will demand that slackers be paid for operating a TV remote.

Doped-up slackers will not even try to improve themselves, demanding intervention of a Big and intrusive Government that nobody wants, and nobody certainly wants to pay for.

I think that is a great idea. I think we should all set up a non profit from our homes and then we wouldn't have to pay taxes either!

I just heard a series of a half-dozen different MSM anchor soundbites, where each used the term "sharp elbows" to describe Emanuel.

Then I heard, at a dinner where an election loss was being discussed, Emanuel read off names of weak supporters, shouted "DEAD" after each name, and stabbed a steak knife into the table!

In the news also is that The Øne (PBUHN) has picked Governor Jennifer Granholm of Michigan to advise The Øne (PBUHN) on an Economic committee.

There's no state in worse economic condition than Michigan! Where business should be getting tax breaks, she has been raising taxes on everybody.

Emanuel is a genius compared to Granholm.

I can see where we will be reading CW's complaints about President Obama in this forum for the next four.

I hope we read your complaints as well WM.

If I have any you can be sure I will post them but I could never match CW.

Bill Daley, Clinton*s former secretary of commerce and the brother of the mayor of Chicago. Clinton appointed him to the Fannie Mae board and his son worked as a lobbyist for the agency.

Aren't these the kind of folks that The Øbama (PBUHN) ran against?

Larry Summers, former Clinton secretary of the treasury is not exactly an outsider either.

Susan Rice, assistant secretary of state under Clinton advised John Kerry and Mike Dukakis.

Does that tell you enough?

Obama has named one of his big campaign donations bundlers—Michael Froman, an executive at Citigroup.

Is this supposed to symbolize change?

Stephanie Cutter is the brash and combative former Clinton, Kerry, and Ted Kennedy mouthpiece.

Rahm Emanuel, the new White House chief of staff, is also a former Clinton White House staffer

Christopher Edley, was a member of the U.S. Civil Rights Commission under Clinton, and his wife, Maria Echaveste was Clinton*s deputy chief of staff.

Transition committee staffer Christine Varney was a federal trade commissioner under Clinton and worked in the White House.

Yup. HOPE and CHANGE.

Governor Rod Blagojevich was arrested today for trying to sell the Senate seat left by The Øbama.

He is on tape asking for $300K to $500K from any one of the six possible new appointees. (Including Jesse Jackson, Jesse Jackson, Jr, among others).

Oops! Congressman Rahm Emmanuel took then-Congressman Blagojevich's seat when Blagojevich became Governor!

I wonder how much it cost Rahm Emmanuel to become a Congressman, and could he have finessed that position by having a property-tax exempt house?
