From the article, Obama says,

QUOTE:
"I am running to tell the lobbyists in Washington that their days of setting the agenda are over. They have not funded my campaign. They won't work in my White House."

Yet...
QUOTE:

"Just this weekend The New York times published a list of names -- a rather long list of names of people -- who are working on Obama's transition team or who have accepted jobs in his White House who are either former lobbyists or who have close ties to lobbyists..."

Joe Biden's entire family is lobbying for Delaware's credit card interests.

What "Change" is this, anyway?

I really believe that politicians will tell outright lies just to get elected. When questioned after the fact, they lie, lie, lie. Kind of like "it depends on what the meaning of is is". The fault is ours - we believe the crap they dish out. Obama isn't any different at all. He just has less experience than anybody else. How can anybody be surprised??

SOME OF US believe the lies, LS. I am sure you are not one of them. I know I am not. It is hard to believe that all these people actually believed that if they voted for Obama, he would pay their mortages, pay for their health insurance and buy them cars etc.
You are right, they ALL lie, not just Obama!

Well Tis, I'm just a die-hard cynic. If it sounds too good to be true, chances are it is too good to be true. When Obama said he would take from the rich and give to the poor, that was a big red flag for me. How did he expect to do that, and how would he determine who was deservedly poor? It sounded too good and it was. It will never happen. All those people waiting by the mailbox for a check to pay their mortgage, etc., had better just go and get a job and pay their own way. I find that works pretty well for me. I don't expect a handout and so I'm not disappointed when one doesn't come. I think all the Obama maniacs are going to be very disappointed as time goes on. That's just MY opinion.

Well Obama never said any of these things so it would seem to me that he isn't the one lying.

How is it that two hard working, logical, older, wiser, women can come up with and believe such nonsense?

Are you saying that Obama voters who expected "Affordable Housing" (and hadn't a prayer of actually paying out for it) aren't going to get their mortgages paid for?

You're also very quiet lately on The Obama taking away your 2nd amendment rights.

I love your phrase, LS- DESERVEDLY POOR-! That is really good. If there was only some way the gov. could figure out who is deservedly poor! I am like you LS, I am not easily duped, I guess I am a cynic too.
DF. I acutally heard people say that. He didn't deny it. However, that has nothing to do with the lying subject of this thread. The lying is about how he said he would never have the lobbyists in his campaign or his administration and he has the biggest and the best of them already! Never say never!
