As you are all aware, the community forum turned into more of a political discussion on Wolfeboro. I have renamed the old forum to "Wolfeboro Politics". Lets keep all the political discussion confined to that forum.

Well, today is all about "community" in Wolfeboro. The Memorial Day services at the Brewster Monument, Carpenter School, Post Office, and the Town Dockside area were just wonderful. A very large crowd followed the participants to all venues, behaved respectfully during the ceremonies, and exhibited enthusiasm and enjoyment while moving from site to site.

At the Wright Museum there was a very well planned and well attended cememony, and, from looking around the crowd, I'd say there were some eye-witnesses to WWII in the gathering. This was a very moving service and the participants are to be genuinely thanked for their part in the service.

The Museum was generous and let people tour the Museum, and there were some 'light' refreshments available. Very well done.

Truly, this was a great day in Wolfeboro, thanks to ALL who were involved.

I have finally found the "new" Wolfeboro web cam. Thanks to the folks that sponsor it. I am sure that the Memorial Day was wonderful, can't wait until the 4th of July-the parade is truly amazing. and what can one say about the fireworks!
I am returning in late June for 5 weeks-can't wait to walk through Blacks and get an ice cream at....I can't remember the name!
