After watching VP Palin tonight, I have to say that McCain seems to have made a wise and gutsy choice. Sarah Palin has more sense and brains then Obummer and Biden combined. I would've included integrity in that last sentence, but that should go without saying since Obummer and Biden don't have a thread of integrity between them.

You didn't answer my questions by dissing BO & JB again.

However, Sarah Palin hit a home run last night - no doubt. She was a shining star for the Republican Evangelicals.

If that was the sum total of why I should vote for her then I might actually go there, but when you look at her policies and look at her background it still doesn't jive with me.

I don't want a preacher in the White House. I'm still one of those old fashioned folks that believe there should be a clear seperation between church and state.

Here she was not on the radar for national office and went to visit Alaskan troops in Kuwait an don return visited injured soldiers.

She also pushed for changes to allow Alaskan National Guardsmen to be able to hunt and fish upon their return if the season was closed. In Alaska some needed the extra season to feed their family.

An article in Alaska last year pointed out how she was going to cut the State's budget. She solicited ideas from voters. Using those 16,000 ideas for savings but she was saying education needed more money.

Did you know the backdrop for the Republican National Convention had movies of actor soldiers, actor mothers in grief, etc. just a bunch of ACTORS faking a funeral to show how patriotic McCain is standing in front of Walter Reed MIDDLE SCHOOL.

The Republicans think the American public is so stupid they will fall for these clips and soundbites and not look at the more important issues like 2 wars we're presently active in; like Roe v. Wade, like the cost of oil affecting the entire WORLD ECONOMY; like education, like health insurance. like lost jobs, the list goes on. Tell me where she stands on the ISSUES.

Tell me what your hero Sarah Palin has done to change the direction of the country. Not just a couple of thousand people in Wasilla. The entire state of Alaska has 600,000+ inhabitants whereas the city of Chicago has close to 3 million. BIG difference.

We feel a little affronted by your Post. Have you conveniently forgotten that Barack Obama's Mother was a white woman from Kansas? Also, Barack Obama was lovingly brought up by his White Mom and White Loving Grandparents!
During development in Uteri, Obama had a good chance of being born a white complexioned man - would that make a difference to you?

Please don't ever forget that many Americans have children, well educated, in inter-racial relationships and marriages - they produce both gorgeous black and white skinned babies.

If you support McCain and Palin, where Roe V Wade will be overturned in a blink, just think how many babies of both colors may be lost and their Mom's as well.
