If her teenage daughter being pregnant makes someone think ill of her, the real problem is with that small-minded person not the Palins. Just because she opposes abortion does not mean she opposes birth control. The facts show the opposite. The women's group she belongs to does believe in birth control.

Obama voted in favor of a bill that allowed the killing of a baby that survived an abortion. Does that mean he supports all forms of infanticide? At least I am willing to open minded enough to doubt he supports all types of infanticide.

The "bridge to nowhere"?? She was right to oppose it. She did support it but then extimates came in higher and it would have cost Alaska big $$$$ to accept the Federal money for that project. The feds capped the amount they were going to pay. And if you accept their money, you have to build it to their specs. The extra has to come from Alaska budget. Kethicken still got several major projects out of Federal funding. There are people in Alaska who think Ketchiken residents ought to stop whining.

She cut the state budget 10%. She reduced her city's property tax to almost nothing.

What a cheap shot it is to talk about her ignoring Trig. Do you mention how important it is for a young child to have a father in their life? If Obama is president-which is more consuming than VP-how involved will he be in his young daughters' lives? It is sexist to claim only a woman ought to sacrifice her career for her children.

How can Sarah Palin openly support and push creationism and abstinece in schools when her own daughter fails to listen to her lessons? Is this the voice of a smart women?

How can a smart women be pro-life and pro-death penalty at the same time? Is it ok to kill a full grown person but not a fetus? I don't get that!

I am pro-choice and pro-life personally because I believe a smart women can choose life most of the time but maybe not all the time. Regardless, we sure as hell don't need anyone in Government telling me or my future generaitons what decisions to make with my body, my health, those are my choices. That's where I draw the line.

I don't see Sarah Palin as a role model - plain and simple.

You can probably name a tyrant who shouldn't have been born, but there are millions "missing" from the US population who have been supplanted in the workplace by foreigners.

DF. I seem to recall Clinton didn't lose his job, he didn't even go to jail for perjury! I don't think he made out too badly.

Most (but not all) children that have a problem with societies rules usually have a parent/parents who continue to blame the enforcers and not the child. When children constantly see their parents fighting with neighbors, law enforcement, federal/state/and local government officials, Internet forums, and the list goes on, the child will act out against society also.
The child will constantly be in trouble with the law because he/she does not have respect for them due to his/her parental guidance. The parent will protect the child to the point where the child feels it is OK to get in trouble because it is societies rules that are wrong and not them.
When the parents are told that they might be the problem, they will list all the reasons why it couldn't possibly be that. The child will never take responsibility for their actions because the parents won't let them.

I feel sorry for these children because they will never get a chance to grow up and be productive citizens.

The shirt says "I may be broke, but I'm not flat busted".

You all forget I'm not running for Vice President. I'm just stating why I don't think Sarah Palin would be a good President or a good role model.

I would absolutely support my mothers right to march in a pro-choice rally.

There is a BIG difference between Pro-choice and killing tyrants CW. I personally can't think of anyone I'd kill because I don't believe in the death penalty. I think it's absolutely absurd that we as intelligent, advanced society still kill someone for killing someone.

I'm told Sarah Palin has fought the Republican party and the status quo for 10 years so that must be why her daughter got pregnant right Wolf03894? Why Sarah fights with Scientists who believe the world evolved rather then was created I'm sure she's sending her daughter a message that it's ok to get pregnant at 16 or 17.

When children see their parents fighting with neighbors, law enforcement, federal/state/and local government officials, Internet forums, and the list goes on, the child will learn risk and reward, independance, the freedom of speech etc.

I don't ever pick fights with anyone myself. I always go about my business and life and wait for them to throw the first jab which is exactly what I've taught my children to do as well. Unfotunately when someone throws the first jab then you can't just sit there and get pummeled - you gotta fight back.

So back to Sarah Palin - what makes her a MAVERICK if not fighting the status quo?

Tell me what makes her a good choice for VP? Other then what all the men say = "she's hot!".

Give me something of substance.
