John's View |
|
January 6, 2009 ~
From the shore of Wolfeboro Bay, the lake looks frozen, however, it is my understanding there is still open water out there. There are bob houses on Meredith Bay and near the bandstand in Alton Bay, but we are telling our friends NOT YET! There may be some areas that are safe, but let's wait a little longer.

Just Out For a Cruise |
|
The specific of islands is not escape, but return. They are no longer so much a means of getting away from it all as getting back to it all; Of returning to a life made to man's natural measure; Free from things too big, too fast, too material.
