"The Nicholas J. Pernokas Recreation Park, also known as "The Nick" will soon be home for one of the finest recreational facilities located in the New Hampshire's Lakes Region. The Wolfeboro Area Recreation Association, sponsor of the new park, is a private, non-profit volunteer organization dedicated to providing athletic and recreational opportunities for the community. The construction of The Nick will be a major cornerstone to actively upholding the beliefs, traditions, and quality of life in the Wolfeboro community."
